“The CRP has given me a ton of love and support this semester. I am unsure what my college experience would have been like without this community. It made a huge difference to know that other students in recovery were there for me at any time, no matter what.”-

Who We Are

If you are in recovery from substance use, considering recovery, or taking a break the Catamount Recovery Program (CRP) can provide you with an affirming and supportive community. CRP helps reinforce and maintain your recovery through opportunities for community-building, housing, learning, and advising.

Spotlight

Across the state of Vermont, recovery coaches and centers are showing that recovery from substances IS possible. Every year, over 12,000 people in Vermont leave substance use disorder (SUD) treatment. We’re on a mission to support their continued recovery. Join our Green Mountain friends to find out what recovery means to them.

Resources

Our CRP Lounge is available to members 24/7 as a community gathering space. We have a stocked pantry, couches for relaxing and connecting, tables for studying and art projects, a ping pong table, and an A/V system for group movie watching. We provide academic support and liaising, referrals to recovery-specific counseling and psychiatry resources; education; and recovery support.

Highlights

Community Game Night: all students interested in playing strategic board games, role playing games and video games in a substance-free space on Friday nights.
