Danny Coburn was born and raised in Flint, Michigan, and grew up on the sweet sounds of Motown, traditional country, blues and rock ’n’ roll. He cut his teeth playing in punk and hardcore bands in his teens and leaned toward rock and country in his 20s. He spent his 30s in the jam band–blues outfit Hill Country Revue, residing in Memphis, Tennessee, for seven years.
Now in his 40s, Danny has rejoined a band he was an original member of in his 20s, Whitey Morgan and the 78’s, playing harmonica and singing background vocals.
Danny enjoys riding his Harley throughout Oregon, where he has lived for the past 13 years, and spending quality time at home with his wife and their abundance of pets on their farm.
"Recovery to me is a commitment. A promise to myself. It’s a commitment I’ve made that affects every other commitment I’ve made. If I mess this up, everything else will surely fall apart. There’s nothing to it, but to do it! Get sober, folks!”
